Mounjaro 5mg Injection (Tirzepatide 5mg)

Composition: Tirzepatide 5 mg in a sterile, pre-filled injection pen for subcutaneous administration.

Description: Mounjaro 5mg Injection contains Tirzepatide, a dual GIP and GLP-1 receptor agonist indicated for improving glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes. It regulates blood sugar by enhancing insulin release, reducing glucagon secretion, slowing gastric emptying, and promoting satiety, which also supports weight reduction. It is administered once weekly and is used along with diet and exercise for optimal glucose management.

Precautions: Use only under medical supervision and avoid if there is a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or MEN-2. Caution is advised in patients with pancreatitis, gastrointestinal disorders, kidney impairment, or those taking other antidiabetic medicines due to risk of hypoglycemia. Avoid use during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless clearly prescribed. Do not inject into swollen, irritated, or damaged skin.

Adverse Effects: Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, decreased appetite, abdominal discomfort, and injection-site reactions may occur. Some patients may experience dizziness, reflux, or fatigue. Rare but serious effects include pancreatitis, allergic reactions, and kidney function disturbances.

Storage: Store in a refrigerator between 2°C and 8°C. Do not freeze. Protect from direct light and heat. If removed from refrigeration, it may be kept at room temperature as per pack guidelines. Keep out of reach of children.
