Moxel 250 Dt Tab (20X10) Amoxycillin 250 Mg by Elder

What is it used for?
Amoxycillin is an antibiotic used to treat certain bacterial infections, including infections of the ear, nose, throat, chest, urinary tract, skin and teeth. It does not work against viral infections such as colds or flu.

How does it work?
It stops susceptible bacteria from building their protective cell wall, which kills the bacteria and helps clear the infection.

How to take/use it
Take it exactly as prescribed by the doctor and complete the full course, even if feeling better. It may be taken with or without food; take it with water. Do not share leftover antibiotics or use them without medical advice.

Common side effects
Nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, stomach discomfort and skin rash may occur.

Precautions
Do not take it if there has been a serious allergy to amoxycillin, penicillin or related antibiotics. Seek urgent medical help for breathing difficulty, swelling of the face or throat, or a severe skin rash. Contact a doctor for severe or persistent diarrhoea, especially during or after treatment. Tell the doctor about kidney problems and all other medicines being taken.
