Moxy Drops (5Ml) Moxifloxacin Hcl 0.5% by Elder

What is it used for?
Moxifloxacin 0.5% eye drops are used to treat bacterial eye infections, such as bacterial conjunctivitis. They do not treat viral or fungal eye infections.

How does it work?
Moxifloxacin is an antibiotic that stops susceptible bacteria from multiplying, helping clear the infection.

How to take/use it
Use in the affected eye(s) exactly as prescribed. Wash hands before use, avoid touching the dropper tip to the eye or any surface, and complete the prescribed course. Do not use it in the mouth or swallow it. Remove contact lenses before use unless advised otherwise by a doctor.

Common side effects
Temporary eye irritation, stinging, redness, discomfort, itching or blurred vision may occur after application.

Precautions
Do not use if allergic to moxifloxacin or other quinolone antibiotics. Seek medical help for severe eye pain, swelling, rash, breathing difficulty, worsening symptoms or vision changes. Use only under medical advice in children, during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
