Description:

Alkof DX Syrup is a cough suppressant and anti-allergic formulation that provides relief from dry (non-productive) cough caused by throat irritation, allergies, or respiratory tract infections.
It combines the antitussive action of Dextromethorphan with the antihistaminic effect of Chlorpheniramine Maleate, effectively reducing cough frequency and soothing throat discomfort.

Warnings & Precautions:

May cause drowsiness or dizziness — avoid driving or operating machinery.

Use cautiously in patients with asthma, chronic bronchitis, or glaucoma.

Alcohol and other CNS depressants may enhance sedative effects.

Not intended for chronic or productive cough associated with excessive mucus.

Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding only under medical supervision.

Adverse Effects:

Common: Drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, mild nausea

Occasional: Headache, constipation, blurred vision

Rare: Allergic rash, palpitations, or CNS excitation in children (if overdosed).
