What is it used for?
Used for short-term relief of mild to moderate pain and fever.

How does it work?
Mefenamic acid reduces the production of substances that cause pain and inflammation. Paracetamol helps reduce pain and fever, mainly by acting in the brain.

How to take/use it
Use only as directed by the doctor or product label. Shake the suspension well before use and measure it with an accurate measuring device. Do not take more than recommended, and avoid other medicines containing paracetamol or other NSAIDs unless advised by a healthcare professional.

Common side effects
Nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, indigestion, diarrhoea, dizziness or drowsiness.

Precautions
Avoid use if allergic to mefenamic acid, paracetamol or other NSAID painkillers. Seek medical advice before use if there is a history of stomach ulcer or bleeding, kidney or liver disease, asthma triggered by painkillers, or pregnancy. Stop use and seek urgent medical help for black stools, vomiting blood, severe skin rash, breathing difficulty, or swelling of the face or throat.
