Nicoheart 5 Tabs (10X10) Nicorendil 5 Mg by Elder

What is it used for?
Nicorandil is used to help prevent and reduce chest pain caused by stable angina, a heart condition in which the heart muscle does not receive enough oxygen-rich blood.

How does it work?
It widens the blood vessels, helping improve blood flow to the heart and reducing the workload on the heart.

How to take/use it
Take it exactly as prescribed by the doctor, at the same times each day. Swallow the tablet with water and do not stop it suddenly without medical advice. It is generally used for prevention and is not a replacement for prescribed emergency treatment for sudden chest pain.

Common side effects
Headache, dizziness, weakness, flushing, nausea and vomiting. Mouth ulcers may also occur.

Precautions
It may lower blood pressure and cause dizziness, especially when standing up. Do not use it with medicines for erectile dysfunction, such as sildenafil or tadalafil, or with riociguat, unless specifically advised by a doctor. Tell the doctor about any persistent or unusual ulcers, including ulcers in the mouth, stomach, intestines, skin or eyes. Seek urgent medical help for severe or worsening chest pain, fainting or difficulty breathing.
