What is it used for?
Used for temporary relief of common cold symptoms such as fever, body aches, blocked or runny nose, sneezing and cough with mucus.

How does it work?
Paracetamol reduces fever and relieves aches. Phenylephrine helps reduce nasal congestion, chlorpheniramine reduces allergy-like symptoms such as sneezing and runny nose, while ammonium chloride helps loosen mucus and menthol soothes the throat.

How to take/use it
Take by mouth only, using the measuring device provided. Follow the dose and frequency on the label or as prescribed. Do not take it with other paracetamol-containing or cold medicines unless advised by a healthcare professional.

Common side effects
Drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, nausea, stomach upset and headache may occur. Some people may experience palpitations or a temporary rise in blood pressure.

Precautions
Avoid alcohol and do not drive or operate machinery if drowsy or dizzy. Seek medical advice before use if there is high blood pressure, heart disease, liver disease, glaucoma, difficulty passing urine or prostate problems. Use in children, during pregnancy or while breastfeeding only on medical advice. Seek medical help if symptoms worsen, last several days, or breathing difficulty develops.
