Norfloxacin IP 400 mg, Tinidazole IP 600 mg

Description:

Nor-400 TZ Tablet is a combination of an antibacterial (Norfloxacin) and an antiprotozoal/antiamoebic agent (Tinidazole).
It is used to treat mixed bacterial and protozoal infections, especially in the gastrointestinal and genitourinary tract.
This combination provides broad coverage against common pathogens causing diarrhea, dysentery, and infections of the urinary or reproductive system.

Warnings and Precautions:

Avoid alcohol during treatment and for at least 72 hours after completing the course (risk of disulfiram-like reaction with Tinidazole).

Use cautiously in patients with seizure disorders, neuropathy, or kidney/liver impairment.

May cause photosensitivity—avoid direct sunlight or use sun protection.

Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless advised by a doctor.

Inform the doctor about any ongoing medications, especially anticoagulants or antiepileptics.

Adverse Effects:

Nausea, vomiting, Metallic taste, Abdominal pain, Dizziness, headache, Diarrhea or constipation, Fatigue or weakness, Rare: allergic reactions, peripheral neuropathy
