Nortini Tabs (10X10) Norfloxacin 400 Mg, Tinidazole 600Mg by Elder

What is it used for?
This combination is used to treat certain infectious diarrhoea and loose motions caused by susceptible bacteria or intestinal parasites. It should be used only when prescribed by a healthcare professional.

How does it work?
Norfloxacin stops susceptible bacteria from multiplying. Tinidazole damages the DNA of certain bacteria and intestinal parasites, helping clear the infection.

How to take/use it
Take it exactly as prescribed and complete the full course, even if symptoms improve. Swallow with water and do not self-medicate or share this medicine. Avoid alcohol during treatment and for at least 3 days after the last dose.

Common side effects
Nausea, vomiting, stomach discomfort, diarrhoea, headache, dizziness, and a metallic or bitter taste.

Precautions
Avoid use during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless specifically advised. Tell the doctor about kidney problems, tendon disorders, nerve problems, heart rhythm problems, or allergies to quinolone antibiotics. Seek medical help for tendon pain or swelling, numbness or tingling, severe or persistent diarrhoea, rash, breathing difficulty, or palpitations. Keep well hydrated during diarrhoea and follow medical advice regarding other medicines and supplements, especially antacids or mineral supplements.
