What is it used for?
Used as saline nasal drops to moisten dry nasal passages, loosen mucus and help relieve a blocked or stuffy nose.

How does it work?
Sodium chloride solution moisturises the lining of the nose and helps thin and loosen mucus, making it easier to clear. Benzalkonium chloride and phenylmercuric acetate act as preservatives.

How to take/use it
Use only in the nose and follow the instructions on the product label or from a healthcare professional. Do not touch the dropper tip to the nose or other surfaces, and do not share the bottle.

Common side effects
Temporary stinging, irritation, sneezing or increased nasal discharge may occur.

Precautions
