What is it used for?
Oxymetazoline nasal medicine provides short-term relief from a blocked or stuffy nose caused by colds, allergies or sinus congestion.

How does it work?
It narrows swollen blood vessels in the lining of the nose, helping reduce swelling and improve airflow.

How to take/use it
Use in the nose exactly as directed on the package or by a healthcare professional. Do not use it for longer than 3 days unless advised, as prolonged use can cause worsening or rebound nasal congestion.

Common side effects
Temporary nasal burning, stinging, dryness, sneezing or irritation may occur. Overuse may cause rebound congestion.

Precautions
Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if there is high blood pressure, heart disease, thyroid disease, diabetes, glaucoma or an enlarged prostate, or if monoamine oxidase inhibitor medicines are being taken.
