What is it used for?
Xylometazoline 0.05% nasal spray provides short-term relief from a blocked or stuffy nose caused by common colds, sinus congestion or nasal allergies.

How does it work?
It narrows swollen blood vessels in the lining of the nose, helping reduce swelling and improve airflow.

How to take/use it
Use in the nose only, following the product label or a doctor's instructions. Clear the nose gently before use, and do not share the spray with others. Do not use it more often or for longer than recommended, as this can cause worsening congestion.

Common side effects
Nasal dryness, irritation, burning, sneezing or headache. Temporary worsening of congestion may occur after prolonged use.

Precautions
This pediatric strength should be used only for the age group stated on the label or advised by a doctor. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use in children with high blood pressure, heart disease, overactive thyroid, glaucoma or other significant medical conditions.
