Ofler Eye Drop (10ml) Ofloxacin 0.3% w/v, Benzalkonium 0.02% w/v Eye Drops by Aristo

What is it used for?
This antibacterial solution is used to treat bacterial infections of the eye. It should be used for ear infections only if specifically prescribed for that purpose.

How does it work?
Ofloxacin stops the growth of susceptible bacteria by interfering with enzymes needed for bacterial DNA. Benzalkonium helps preserve the solution.

How to take/use it
Use only as directed by a doctor or pharmacist. If used in the eye, wash hands before use, avoid touching the dropper tip to any surface, and complete the prescribed course. Do not wear contact lenses during treatment unless advised otherwise.

Common side effects
Temporary stinging or burning, eye irritation, redness, watery eyes, or blurred vision may occur briefly after use.

Precautions
Do not use if allergic to ofloxacin or other quinolone antibiotics. Seek medical advice if symptoms worsen, vision changes persist, severe pain or swelling develops, or signs of a serious allergic reaction occur. This medicine treats bacterial infections and does not work against viral or fungal infections.
