Description:

Olmeperl-20 Tablet contains Olmesartan Medoxomil, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that helps manage high blood pressure (hypertension). It works by relaxing and widening blood vessels, allowing smoother blood flow and lowering blood pressure. Regular use helps reduce the risk of stroke, heart attack, and kidney problems caused by long-term hypertension.

Warnings & Precautions:

Avoid use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Use with caution in renal or hepatic impairment.

Monitor blood pressure, renal function, and serum potassium regularly.

Avoid concurrent use with aliskiren in diabetic patients.

May cause symptomatic hypotension in volume-depleted individuals (e.g., after diuretic use).

Adverse Effects:

Common: Dizziness, headache, fatigue

Occasional: Nausea, diarrhea, back pain

Rare: Hypotension, hyperkalemia, renal dysfunction, angioedema
