Description:

Olmeperl-40 Tablet contains Olmesartan Medoxomil, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that helps control high blood pressure (hypertension). It works by relaxing blood vessels, allowing blood to flow more easily and reducing the workload on the heart. Regular use helps prevent stroke, heart attack, and kidney complications associated with hypertension.

Warnings & Precautions:

Avoid during pregnancy — may cause fetal toxicity.

Monitor renal function and serum potassium periodically.

Use with caution in volume-depleted or salt-depleted patients (may cause hypotension).

Avoid concomitant use with aliskiren in patients with diabetes.

Adequate hydration should be maintained.

Adverse Effects:

Common: Dizziness, headache, fatigue, hypotension

Occasional: Nausea, diarrhea, back pain, rash

Rare: Hyperkalemia, renal impairment, angioedema
