What is it used for?
Olopatadine 0.1% eye drops are used to relieve itching, redness and watering caused by allergic conjunctivitis, also called eye allergy.

How does it work?
It blocks the action of histamine, a chemical involved in allergic reactions, and helps reduce the release of allergy-causing substances in the eye.

How to take/use it
Use in the eyes exactly as directed on the product label or by the doctor. Wash hands before use and do not touch the dropper tip to the eye or any surface. Remove contact lenses before use and follow the product instructions about when to put them back in. If using other eye drops, ask a healthcare professional about the suitable time gap.

Common side effects
Temporary stinging or burning, eye irritation, dry eyes, blurred vision or headache may occur.

Precautions
Do not use if allergic to olopatadine or any ingredient. Avoid wearing contact lenses if the eyes are irritated and follow the product instructions carefully. Seek medical advice if symptoms are severe, there is eye pain or vision change, or symptoms do not improve. Do not drive until temporary blurred vision clears.
