Omec 20 Caps (20X20) Omeprazole 20Mg As Entric Coated Pellets by Elder

What is it used for?
Omeprazole is used to reduce excess stomach acid and relieve acidity, heartburn and acid reflux. It may also be prescribed for certain stomach or intestinal ulcers and other acid-related conditions.

How does it work?
It reduces the production of acid in the stomach by blocking the stomach’s acid-producing proton pumps.

How to take/use it
Take it exactly as directed by the doctor or stated on the label. Swallow the enteric-coated pellets with water; do not crush or chew them. Do not change the dose or stop treatment without medical advice.

Common side effects
Headache, nausea, stomach pain, diarrhoea, constipation and gas may occur.

Precautions
Inform the doctor about allergies, pregnancy or breastfeeding, liver disease, or other medicines being taken. Long-term or repeated use should be medically supervised. Seek medical advice for difficulty swallowing, vomiting blood, black stools, unexplained weight loss or persistent symptoms.
