Omey 20 Cap (Combo) (Omeprazole 20Mg ) By Intas

What is it used for?
Omeprazole is used to reduce excess stomach acid and relieve acidity, heartburn and acid reflux. It is also used for stomach or intestinal ulcers and, with other medicines, for certain Helicobacter pylori infections.

How does it work?
It blocks a stomach enzyme that produces acid, thereby reducing acid levels and helping relieve symptoms and heal acid-related irritation.

How to take/use it
Swallow the capsule or tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew it. Take it exactly as directed by a doctor or pharmacist, preferably at the recommended time before food. Do not take more than advised.

Common side effects
Headache, nausea, stomach pain, diarrhoea, constipation, vomiting and gas.

Precautions
Tell a doctor if there is unexplained weight loss, difficulty swallowing, repeated vomiting, vomiting blood or black stools. Consult a doctor before prolonged use, or if pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking other medicines, especially blood thinners or medicines affected by stomach acid. Seek medical help for signs of an allergic reaction or severe, persistent diarrhoea.
