Composition:

Each capsule contains:

Omeprazole 20 mg, Domperidone 10 mg

Description:

Omey-DM Capsule is a combination of Omeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor that reduces gastric acid secretion, and Domperidone, a prokinetic agent that enhances gastrointestinal motility. Together, they help manage symptoms related to acidity, reflux, and gastric discomfort by providing acid suppression and improving stomach emptying.

Warnings and Precautions:

Use cautiously in patients with hepatic impairment or a history of gastric bleeding.

Domperidone may affect cardiac conduction; use with caution in patients with heart disease or those taking QT-prolonging medications.

Long-term use of PPIs like Omeprazole may lead to vitamin B12 deficiency, low magnesium, or increased fracture risk.

Avoid in patients with prolactin-related disorders.

Inform your doctor about all concurrent medications to avoid interactions.

Adverse Effects:

Common: Headache, Nausea or vomiting, Abdominal pain or bloating, Dry mouth, Diarrhea or constipation

Less common: Dizziness, Rash or hypersensitivity reactions, Electrolyte imbalance (rare), QT prolongation (with Domperidone)
