What is it used for?
Used to relieve acidity, heartburn and acid reflux, especially when accompanied by nausea or vomiting.

How does it work?
Omeprazole reduces the amount of acid produced in the stomach. Domperidone helps improve movement of the upper digestive tract and can reduce nausea and vomiting.

How to take/use it
Take only as prescribed or directed on the label. Swallow the medicine whole with water; do not crush or chew it. Do not take more or use it for longer than advised.

Common side effects
Headache, stomach pain or discomfort, diarrhoea, constipation, nausea, and dry mouth.

Precautions
Tell the doctor if there is a history of heart rhythm problems, heart disease, liver disease, or low potassium or magnesium levels. Domperidone may interact with some medicines, including certain antibiotics, antifungals and medicines affecting heart rhythm. Seek medical help for fainting, a fast or irregular heartbeat, vomiting blood, black stools, difficulty swallowing, or unexplained weight loss.
