What is it used for?
Used to relieve acid reflux, heartburn and indigestion, particularly when these symptoms are accompanied by nausea or vomiting.

How does it work?
Omeprazole reduces the amount of acid produced in the stomach. Domperidone helps food move through the upper digestive system and can help reduce nausea and vomiting.

How to take/use it
Take only as prescribed. Swallow the capsule or tablet whole with water and do not crush or chew it. Follow the prescribed timing, which may be before a meal. Do not take more or use it for longer than advised.

Common side effects
Headache, stomach pain, diarrhoea, constipation, nausea, dry mouth or dizziness.

Precautions
Tell the doctor about liver disease, heart problems, an irregular heartbeat, or a history of low potassium or magnesium. Domperidone may cause serious heart-rhythm problems and can interact with some medicines; disclose all medicines being taken. Seek urgent medical help for fainting, a fast or irregular heartbeat, severe allergic symptoms, vomiting blood or black stools. Consult a doctor before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
