ONDALINK Injection (Ondansetron 2Mg)

Composition:
ONDALINK Injection contains Ondansetron 2 mg in a sterile aqueous solution for intravenous or intramuscular administration.

Description:
ONDALINK Injection is an antiemetic agent that works by selectively blocking serotonin 5-HT₃ receptors located centrally in the chemoreceptor trigger zone and peripherally in the gastrointestinal tract. It is used for the prevention and treatment of nausea and vomiting associated with chemotherapy, radiotherapy, postoperative states, and other medical conditions requiring antiemetic therapy. The injectable form provides rapid relief, especially in patients unable to take oral medication.

Precautions:
The injection should be used under medical supervision. Caution is advised in patients with cardiac rhythm disorders, electrolyte imbalances, or those taking medicines that prolong the QT interval. Dose adjustment may be required in patients with severe hepatic impairment. Hypersensitivity to ondansetron or other 5-HT₃ antagonists is a contraindication.

Adverse Effects:
Common adverse effects include headache, constipation, dizziness, and fatigue. Injection site reactions such as pain or redness may occur. Rarely, cardiac rhythm disturbances, hypersensitivity reactions, or transient visual disturbances have been reported.

Store in a cool, dry place below 25°C, protected from light. Do not freeze. Keep out of reach of children.
