Composition:

ONDALINK Injection contains Ondansetron 8 mg in a sterile injectable formulation.

Description:

ONDALINK 8 mg Injection is an antiemetic medication used for the prevention and treatment of nausea and vomiting associated with chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and postoperative conditions. Ondansetron works by selectively blocking serotonin (5-HT3) receptors in the central nervous system and gastrointestinal tract, which play a key role in triggering nausea and vomiting. It provides effective and rapid relief, especially in patients unable to take oral medication.

Precautions:

The injection should be administered under medical supervision. Caution is advised in patients with heart rhythm disorders, electrolyte imbalance, liver impairment, or those taking other medicines that prolong the QT interval. Dose adjustment may be required in severe hepatic dysfunction. Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding should be based on medical advice.

Adverse Effects:

ONDALINK Injection is generally well tolerated. Some patients may experience headache, dizziness, constipation, flushing, or injection site reactions. Rarely, cardiac rhythm disturbances or hypersensitivity reactions may occur.
