Composition:
Each film-coated tablet contains:

Ondansetron 8 mg

Description:

Ondet-8 Tablet contains Ondansetron, a selective 5-HT₃ receptor antagonist used to prevent and treat nausea and vomiting induced by chemotherapy, radiotherapy, postoperative states, and other conditions.

Warnings & Precautions:

Use with caution in patients with hepatic impairment (dose adjustment may be required).

May prolong QT interval; avoid in patients with congenital long QT syndrome.

Monitor patients with electrolyte imbalance (hypokalemia/hypomagnesemia).

Use cautiously in patients on other QT-prolonging drugs.

May mask progressive ileus or gastric distention.

Adverse Effects:

Common:

Headache, Constipation, Fatigue, Dizziness

Less common:

Hypersensitivity reactions, QT prolongation, arrhythmias, Elevated liver enzymes, Serotonin syndrome (rare)

Storage:

Store in a cool, dry place, below 25°C.

Protect from light and moisture.

Keep out of reach of children.
