Each film-coated tablet contains:

Ethinyl Estradiol IP 0.03 mg ,Levonorgestrel IP 0.15 mg

Description:
Oral L Tablet is a combined oral contraceptive pill containing Ethinyl Estradiol (an estrogen) and Levonorgestrel (a progestogen). It prevents pregnancy primarily by inhibiting ovulation, altering cervical mucus to prevent sperm penetration, and modifying the endometrial lining to prevent implantation.

It is also used for regulating menstrual cycles, reducing menstrual pain, and managing hormonal acne or premenstrual symptoms in some cases.

Warnings and Precautions:

Should be taken daily at the same time for effective contraception.

Contraindicated in women with a history of thromboembolic disorders, stroke, liver disease, breast or estrogen-dependent cancers, or unexplained vaginal bleeding.

Smoking increases the risk of serious cardiovascular side effects, especially in women over 35 years of age.

Discontinue immediately if experiencing symptoms like severe headache, chest pain, shortness of breath, or visual disturbances.

Use with caution in diabetic or hypertensive patients.

Does not protect against HIV/AIDS or other sexually transmitted infections (STIs).

Adverse Effects:
Nausea, headache, breast tenderness, mild weight changes, mood swings, and breakthrough bleeding. Rarely, thromboembolic events or liver enzyme alterations may occur.
