What is it used for?
Oxymetazoline paediatric nasal spray is used for short-term relief of a blocked or stuffy nose caused by colds, allergies or sinus congestion.

How does it work?
It narrows swollen blood vessels inside the nose, helping reduce swelling and improve airflow.

How to take/use it
For nasal use only. Clear the nose gently and use the spray exactly as directed on the label or by a doctor. Use only in the child and age group specified on the pack. Do not share the spray, and do not use it for longer than recommended, as this may worsen nasal blockage.

Common side effects
Nasal dryness, burning or irritation, sneezing, headache, and temporary worsening of congestion after the effect wears off may occur.

Precautions
Use only the recommended paediatric product and follow the stated directions carefully. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if the child has high blood pressure, heart disease, thyroid problems, diabetes, glaucoma, or is taking other medicines. Stop use and seek medical advice if symptoms worsen, do not improve, or unusual effects such as a fast heartbeat occur.
