Panta D Tabs (40/10Mg) (20X10) Pantaprazole 40Mg, Domperidone 10 Mg by Elder

What is it used for?
Used to reduce excess stomach acid and relieve acidity, heartburn and acid reflux. Domperidone may also help with nausea, vomiting and stomach fullness associated with slow stomach movement.

How does it work?
Pantoprazole reduces the production of acid in the stomach. Domperidone helps food move through the upper digestive tract and can reduce nausea and vomiting.

How to take/use it
Take only as prescribed and follow the instructions on the label. Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew it if it is gastro-resistant. Do not take it for longer than recommended without medical advice.

Common side effects
Headache, diarrhoea, nausea, stomach pain, dry mouth or dizziness may occur. Seek medical advice if palpitations, fainting or unusual muscle movements occur.

Precautions
Tell the doctor if there is a history of heart rhythm problems, heart disease, liver or kidney disease, or low potassium or magnesium levels. Domperidone can affect heart rhythm and may interact with some medicines, including certain antibiotics and antifungals. Check with a doctor before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Seek medical advice for persistent symptoms, difficulty swallowing, vomiting blood or unexplained weight loss.
