What is it used for?
This combination is used to treat acid reflux, heartburn and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), along with related indigestion symptoms such as bloating, nausea or a feeling of fullness.

How does it work?
Pantoprazole reduces the amount of acid produced in the stomach. Levosulpride helps improve movement of the upper digestive tract, which may help relieve reflux and indigestion symptoms.

How to take/use it
Take it exactly as prescribed and follow the instructions on the label. Do not change the dose or stop treatment without medical advice. If it is supplied as a sustained-release formulation, swallow it whole; do not crush or chew it unless advised.

Common side effects
Headache, dizziness, drowsiness, nausea, diarrhoea, constipation, abdominal discomfort or bloating may occur. Levosulpride may rarely cause breast tenderness or unexpected milk production.

Precautions
Inform the doctor about liver disease, epilepsy, movement disorders, hormone-related conditions, pregnancy or breastfeeding. Seek medical advice for persistent vomiting, black stools, vomiting blood, difficulty swallowing or unexplained weight loss. Avoid driving or alcohol if dizziness or drowsiness occurs. Long-term use should be monitored by a doctor.
