Pantaness L Tab (Pantoprazole 40mg + Levosulpride 75mg SR)

Composition (per SR capsule):

Pantoprazole 40 mg – Proton pump inhibitor that reduces gastric acid secretion
Levosulpiride 75 mg (Sustained Release) – Prokinetic agent that enhances gastric emptying and relieves nausea, bloating & reflux-related symptoms

Description:

Pantaness L is used for the management of:
Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
Dyspepsia, acidity & heartburn
Nausea, bloating & abdominal discomfort caused by slow gastric motility
Ulcer prevention in acid-related disorders

Pantoprazole reduces acid secretion, while Levosulpiride enhances gastric motility for faster relief in reflux and dyspepsia.

Precautions:

Avoid in patients with epilepsy or Parkinson’s disease (Levosulpiride may worsen symptoms).
Use cautiously in patients with prolactin-dependent tumors.
Long-term PPI use may require monitoring of Vitamin B12, magnesium, and bone health.
Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless advised by a physician.
Avoid alcohol and smoking to prevent worsening of acidity.

Adverse Effects:

Drowsiness or dizziness
Breast tenderness or galactorrhea (due to Levosulpiride)
Headache
Constipation or diarrhea
Abdominal discomfort
Rare: allergic reactions or rash
