Each enteric-coated tablet contains:

Pantoprazole Sodium Sesquihydrate equivalent to Pantoprazole 40 mg

Description:

Pantaquik 40 contains Pantoprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that reduces gastric acid secretion by blocking the H⁺/K⁺ ATPase enzyme in gastric parietal cells.
It provides long-lasting relief from hyperacidity, gastritis, and reflux symptoms.

It is commonly prescribed for acid-related disorders and may be used alone or in combination with other medications.

Warnings and Precautions:

Long-term use may cause vitamin B12 deficiency, hypomagnesemia, or bone mineral loss.

Caution in patients with severe liver impairment.

May cause false-positive urine tests for THC (rare).

Avoid alcohol and smoking as they may aggravate acidity.

Inform the doctor if taking anticoagulants, antifungals, or HIV medications—drug interactions possible.

Use in pregnancy or breastfeeding only if advised by a physician.
