What is it used for?
Used to treat acid reflux and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), including heartburn and related symptoms such as nausea, vomiting or a feeling of fullness.

How does it work?
Pantoprazole reduces the amount of acid produced in the stomach. Domperidone helps stomach contents move forward and can reduce nausea and vomiting.

How to take/use it
Take exactly as prescribed. Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew it. It is generally taken before food, as directed by the doctor.

Common side effects
Headache, diarrhoea, nausea, stomach pain, constipation, dry mouth or dizziness.

Precautions
Tell the doctor about heart disease, an irregular heartbeat, liver or kidney problems, or low potassium or magnesium levels. Domperidone may rarely cause serious heart-rhythm problems, especially with higher doses, prolonged use or certain medicines. Seek medical help for a fast or irregular heartbeat, fainting or severe dizziness. Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding only on medical advice.
