What is it used for?
Used to relieve acidity, heartburn and acid reflux (GERD), especially when these symptoms are associated with nausea, vomiting or a feeling of fullness.

How does it work?
Pantoprazole reduces the amount of acid produced in the stomach. Domperidone helps improve stomach movement and reduces nausea and vomiting.

How to take/use it
Take exactly as prescribed, preferably before food. Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew it. Do not take it for longer than advised.

Common side effects
Headache, diarrhoea, abdominal discomfort, dry mouth, nausea or constipation may occur.

Precautions
Tell the doctor about any heart rhythm problem, heart disease, liver disease or low levels of potassium or magnesium. Domperidone may increase the risk of serious irregular heartbeats and can interact with some medicines, including certain antibiotics and antifungals. Seek medical help for fainting, severe dizziness or a fast or irregular heartbeat. Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding only on medical advice.
