What is it used for?
Used to relieve acidity, heartburn and acid reflux symptoms associated with gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). It may also help with related indigestion, nausea or stomach fullness when prescribed.

How does it work?
Pantoprazole reduces the amount of acid produced in the stomach. Domperidone improves stomach movement and helps food pass through the stomach, which can reduce reflux-related symptoms and nausea.

How to take/use it
Take only as prescribed. Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush, chew or break it. Follow the prescribed timing in relation to meals and do not take more than recommended.

Common side effects
Headache, dry mouth, nausea, diarrhoea, stomach pain, abdominal cramps or constipation.

Precautions
Tell the doctor about heart rhythm problems, heart disease, liver disease, or a history of gastrointestinal bleeding or blockage. Domperidone can rarely cause serious irregular heartbeats and may interact with some medicines, including certain antibiotics, antifungals and medicines that affect heart rhythm. Seek medical help for fainting, severe dizziness, or a fast or irregular heartbeat. Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding only on medical advice.
