What is it used for?
Used to relieve acidity, heartburn and acid reflux symptoms, including reflux-related indigestion and discomfort.

How does it work?
Pantoprazole reduces the production of stomach acid. Domperidone helps stomach contents move forward and may reduce nausea and reflux symptoms.

How to take/use it
Take only as prescribed. Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew it. It is generally taken before food, as directed by the prescriber. Do not change the dose or duration without medical advice.

Common side effects
Headache, diarrhoea, nausea, stomach pain, constipation, dry mouth or dizziness.

Precautions
Tell the doctor about heart disease, irregular heartbeat, liver disease or electrolyte problems. Domperidone may rarely cause serious heart-rhythm problems; seek urgent medical help for fast or irregular heartbeat, fainting or severe dizziness. Inform the doctor about all medicines being taken, especially medicines that affect heart rhythm. Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding only on medical advice.
