Paraspas (30 X 10T) Dicyclomine 10 Mg + Mefenamic Acid 250 Mg By Cadila

What is it used for?
Used to relieve painful menstrual cramps and the associated lower abdominal pain or spasms.

How does it work?
Dicyclomine relaxes the muscles of the abdomen and uterus to reduce spasms. Mefenamic acid reduces the substances that cause pain and inflammation.

How to take/use it
Take only as prescribed by the doctor, preferably with or after food and with water. Do not take more than the recommended amount or combine it with other painkillers such as ibuprofen or aspirin unless advised.

Common side effects
Nausea, indigestion, stomach discomfort, diarrhoea or constipation, dry mouth, dizziness, drowsiness and blurred vision.

Precautions
Avoid use or seek medical advice if there is a history of stomach ulcer or bleeding, kidney or liver disease, heart disease, asthma triggered by painkillers, glaucoma, difficulty passing urine or bowel obstruction. Do not use during pregnancy, especially after 20 weeks, unless prescribed. Avoid alcohol and driving if dizzy, drowsy or experiencing blurred vision. Seek urgent help for black stools, vomiting blood, severe stomach pain, breathing difficulty, facial swelling or a severe skin rash.
