What is it used for?
This combination is used to relieve nerve pain (neuropathic pain), including pain caused by irritated or damaged nerves. It may be prescribed for conditions such as diabetic nerve pain, only when recommended by a doctor.

How does it work?
Pregabalin reduces the release of pain-signalling substances in the nervous system. Duloxetine increases certain brain chemicals that help reduce abnormal pain signals.

How to take/use it
Take exactly as prescribed, with or without food, and swallow the tablet whole. Do not stop treatment suddenly; the dose may need to be reduced gradually under medical supervision.

Common side effects
Dizziness, sleepiness, tiredness, nausea, dry mouth, constipation, blurred vision, increased appetite, weight gain, or swelling of the legs or feet.

Precautions
Avoid driving or operating machinery until the effects are known, and avoid alcohol because sleepiness and dizziness may worsen. Inform the doctor about kidney or liver problems, glaucoma, seizures, pregnancy or breastfeeding, and all other medicines being taken. Seek medical help for severe mood changes, suicidal thoughts, facial or throat swelling, breathing difficulty, or a severe skin reaction.
