PIPRATECH-1.125 VIAL (Piperacillin 1000Mg+ Tazobactum 125Mg)

Composition:
Each vial contains Piperacillin 1000 mg and Tazobactam 125 mg.

Description:
Piperacillin + Tazobactam is a broad-spectrum antibiotic combination used for treating moderate to severe bacterial infections. It works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis and protecting Piperacillin from degradation by β-lactamase enzymes, ensuring enhanced antibacterial activity.

Precautions:
Use cautiously in patients with kidney impairment and adjust dosage accordingly. Assess for penicillin or cephalosporin allergy before use. Use during pregnancy or lactation only when clearly needed and under medical guidance.

Adverse Effects:
Possible reactions include diarrhoea, nausea, rash, injection site reactions, electrolyte imbalance and rare hypersensitivity reactions.

Storage:
Store below 25°C in a dry place, protected from light. Reconstituted solution should be used immediately or as per manufacturer guidelines.
