What is it used for?
This combination is used to relieve nerve pain (neuropathic pain), such as burning, tingling or shooting pain caused by nerve damage.

How does it work?
Pregabalin reduces the release of pain-signalling substances in the nerves. Nortriptyline helps increase the brain’s natural control of pain signals.

How to take/use it
Take only as prescribed by the doctor, with or without food. Swallow the tablet whole with water. Do not stop treatment suddenly without medical advice.

Common side effects
Drowsiness, dizziness, tiredness, dry mouth, constipation, blurred vision, nausea and weight gain.

Precautions
This medicine may cause sleepiness or dizziness; avoid driving and alcohol until its effects are known. Tell the doctor about kidney disease, glaucoma, difficulty passing urine, pregnancy or breastfeeding. Report severe mood changes, unusual thoughts of self-harm, facial or throat swelling, or breathing difficulty urgently. Use caution with other medicines that cause drowsiness.
