What is it used for?
Used to prevent and control nausea and vomiting during pregnancy. It should be used under medical advice.

How does it work?
Doxylamine helps reduce nausea signals in the brain. Pyridoxine (vitamin B6) also helps relieve pregnancy-related nausea, while folic acid supports normal folate needs.

How to take/use it
Take by mouth exactly as prescribed. Follow the dose and schedule on the label, and do not take more than recommended. Doxylamine may cause sleepiness, so avoid driving until its effects are known.

Common side effects
Sleepiness, dizziness, dry mouth and constipation.

Precautions
Avoid alcohol and check with a doctor or pharmacist before using other medicines that cause drowsiness. Inform the doctor about glaucoma, difficulty passing urine, or other medical conditions. Seek medical advice if vomiting is severe or there are signs of dehydration, such as very little urine, extreme weakness or dizziness.
