Norethisterone IP 5 mg

Description:

Prevent N Tablet contains Norethisterone, a synthetic progestogen used to regulate menstrual cycles and manage hormone-related menstrual disorders.
It works by stabilizing the endometrium (uterine lining) and modifying hormonal balance.

Warnings & Precautions:

Contraindicated in: Pregnancy, Breast cancer or history of hormone-dependent tumors, Liver disease, Undiagnosed vaginal bleeding, History of thrombosis / clotting disorders, 

Use with caution in:

Hypertension, Migraine, Diabetes, Obesity, Not for long-term use without medical supervision., May interact with antiepileptics, antibiotics, and herbal supplements like St. John’s Wort.

Adverse Effects:

Weight gain, Breast tenderness, Mood changes, Headache, Nausea, Breakthrough bleeding or spotting, Rare: blood clots (seek immediate medical care for leg swelling, chest pain, or breathlessness)
