What is it used for?
Progesterone Sustained Release 200mg is used when the body needs additional progesterone. Depending on the doctor's advice, it may be prescribed for irregular menstrual periods, progesterone support during fertility treatment or pregnancy, or with oestrogen therapy during menopause to help protect the uterine lining.

How does it work?
Progesterone is a natural female hormone. It helps regulate the menstrual cycle and prepares and maintains the lining of the uterus.

How to take/use it
Take it exactly as prescribed. Swallow the sustained-release tablet/capsule whole with water; do not crush, chew or open it. Do not change the dose or stop treatment without medical advice.

Common side effects
Drowsiness, dizziness, headache, nausea, bloating, breast tenderness and changes in vaginal bleeding or menstrual periods.

Precautions
