Promet (2 Ml) Metoclopramide 5 Mg/Ml By Protech

What is it used for?
Metoclopramide injection is used to prevent or treat nausea and vomiting. It may also be used to help the stomach empty more quickly in certain digestive conditions.

How does it work?
It blocks dopamine signals in the vomiting centre of the brain and helps movement of food through the upper digestive system.

How to take/use it
This medicine is given by injection, usually by a doctor or nurse. Use it only as prescribed and do not self-inject. The dose and treatment duration depend on the medical condition and response to treatment.

Common side effects
Drowsiness, tiredness, restlessness, headache, dizziness, diarrhoea and weakness.

Precautions
Tell the doctor if there is bowel blockage or bleeding, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, kidney or liver problems, or a history of involuntary movements. Avoid driving or operating machinery if drowsy or dizzy. Seek urgent medical help for unusual muscle spasms, uncontrolled movements, severe restlessness, confusion, fever or muscle stiffness.
