Prometh (2 Ml) Promethazine 25 Mg/Ml By Protech

What is it used for?
Promethazine is used to relieve allergy symptoms such as itching, rashes and runny nose. It may also be used to prevent or treat nausea and vomiting, including motion sickness, when prescribed.

How does it work?
It blocks histamine, a chemical involved in allergic reactions. It also acts on areas of the brain that trigger nausea and vomiting, and can cause drowsiness.

How to take/use it
Use only as prescribed by a doctor. The dose, route and duration depend on the condition being treated. Do not self-inject; if this is an injectable product, it should be administered by a trained healthcare professional.

Common side effects
Drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, blurred vision and constipation may occur.

Precautions
Avoid alcohol and driving or operating machinery if drowsy or less alert. Use cautiously if there is asthma or another breathing problem, glaucoma, difficulty passing urine, epilepsy or severe liver disease. Seek urgent medical help for breathing difficulty, extreme sleepiness, confusion, fainting or a severe allergic reaction. Keep away from young children unless specifically prescribed.
