Description:

Pyrakem-500 contains Paracetamol (Acetaminophen), a widely used analgesic and antipyretic agent. It provides effective relief from mild to moderate pain and fever by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis in the central nervous system.
It is gentle on the stomach and suitable for use across a wide range of ages under medical advice.

Dosage & Administration:

Adults: 500 mg to 1000 mg every 4–6 hours, as needed.

Maximum dose: 4 g/day (8 tablets of 500 mg).

Children (as per medical advice): Dose based on body weight (10–15 mg/kg per dose).

Swallow whole with water; may be taken with or without food.

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

Warnings & Precautions:

Use with caution in patients with liver or kidney impairment.

Avoid concomitant use with other paracetamol-containing products.

Overdose may cause severe hepatotoxicity; seek medical attention immediately if overdose is suspected.

Long-term or high-dose use should only be under medical supervision.Adverse Effects:

Rare: Allergic reactions (rash, urticaria).

Very rare: Hepatotoxicity, blood dyscrasias (thrombocytopenia, leukopenia).

Generally well tolerated at therapeutic doses.
