Qure IV (100Ml) Levofloxacin Infusion by Aristo

What is it used for?
Levofloxacin infusion is an antibiotic used to treat certain serious bacterial infections, including some infections of the lungs and urinary system. It does not treat viral infections such as colds or flu.

How does it work?
It stops bacteria from making the enzymes needed for their growth and multiplication, helping to clear the infection.

How to take/use it
This medicine is given slowly into a vein by a doctor or nurse, usually in a hospital or clinic. The dose and treatment duration depend on the type of infection and kidney function. Do not self-administer or stop treatment early unless advised by the doctor.

Common side effects
Nausea, diarrhoea, headache, dizziness, difficulty sleeping, and pain or irritation at the infusion site may occur.

Precautions
Tell the doctor about kidney disease, heart rhythm problems, tendon disorders, seizures, diabetes, or myasthenia gravis, and about all medicines being used. Seek medical help for tendon pain or swelling, severe or persistent diarrhoea, numbness or tingling, severe mood or nerve-related symptoms, palpitations, fainting, or signs of a serious allergic reaction. Avoid strenuous exercise if tendon pain develops.
