RABETECH-20 Injection (Rabeprazole 20Mg)

Composition:

Rabeprazole 20 mg per injection

Description:

RABETECH-20 Injection contains Rabeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that suppresses gastric acid secretion. It is used for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), peptic ulcer disease, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, and for the prevention of stress-induced gastric ulcers. Rabeprazole works by inhibiting the hydrogen-potassium ATPase enzyme system of the gastric parietal cells, reducing acid production and promoting healing of acid-related lesions.

Precautions:

RABETECH-20 should be administered under medical supervision. Caution is advised in patients with severe liver impairment. Long-term use may lead to vitamin B12 deficiency, hypomagnesemia, or increased risk of bone fractures. Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding only if clearly indicated by a physician. Inform the doctor of all medications being taken, especially antiretrovirals, antifungals, or anticoagulants, to avoid interactions.

Adverse Effects:

Common side effects include headache, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, abdominal pain, and flatulence. Rare but serious effects may include hypersensitivity reactions, liver enzyme abnormalities, and electrolyte disturbances.

Storage:

Store below 25°C, protected from light and moisture. Keep the vial in original packaging until use. Do not freeze. Keep out of reach of children and do not use after the expiry date.
