Rabi 20Mg Inj (Vial) Rabeprazole Sodium 20Mg by Elder

What is it used for?
Rabeprazole is used to reduce excess stomach acid and treat acidity, heartburn, acid reflux (GERD) and stomach or duodenal ulcers. It may also be used with antibiotics to help treat Helicobacter pylori infection, when prescribed.

How does it work?
It reduces the production of stomach acid by blocking the acid-producing pumps in the stomach lining.

How to take/use it
Take it exactly as prescribed. Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew it. Follow the prescribed timing and treatment duration, and do not stop treatment without medical advice.

Common side effects
Headache, nausea, diarrhoea, constipation, stomach pain and gas may occur.

Precautions
Tell the doctor about liver disease, pregnancy or breastfeeding, allergies to acid-reducing medicines, or other medicines being taken. Prolonged use may require medical monitoring. Seek medical advice for severe or persistent diarrhoea, rash, swelling, difficulty breathing, black stools or vomiting blood.
