What is it used for?
Used to treat acidity and acid reflux (GERD), including heartburn and regurgitation. It may also help relieve nausea or vomiting associated with these digestive symptoms.

How does it work?
Rabeprazole reduces the production of stomach acid. Domperidone helps improve movement of the stomach and upper digestive tract and reduces nausea and vomiting.

How to take/use it
Take exactly as prescribed by the doctor. Follow the product label and do not change the dose or duration without medical advice. Swallow the medicine as directed; do not crush or chew it unless specifically advised.

Common side effects
Headache, diarrhoea, constipation, stomach pain, nausea, dry mouth and dizziness. Domperidone may occasionally cause breast tenderness or increased prolactin levels.

Precautions
Tell the doctor about heart disease, irregular heartbeat, liver disease, electrolyte problems or a history of fainting. Domperidone can rarely affect heart rhythm and may interact with some medicines, including certain antibiotics, antifungals and heart medicines. Seek urgent medical help for palpitations, fainting or severe dizziness. Consult a doctor before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
