What is it used for?
This medicine is used to treat acid reflux, heartburn and gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD). It may also help relieve associated indigestion, bloating and a feeling of fullness.

How does it work?
Rabeprazole reduces the amount of acid produced in the stomach. Levosulpride helps improve movement of the stomach and intestines, which can support the passage of stomach contents and reduce reflux-related symptoms.

How to take/use it
Take it exactly as prescribed. Swallow the sustained-release tablet or capsule whole with water; do not crush, chew or open it. Follow the timing instructions provided by the doctor or product label.

Common side effects
Headache, nausea, diarrhoea, constipation, stomach pain, dizziness, drowsiness and tiredness may occur. Levosulpride may occasionally cause breast tenderness or menstrual changes.

Precautions
Tell the doctor about pregnancy or breastfeeding, liver or kidney problems, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, intestinal blockage or bleeding, or a history of hormone-related breast problems. Avoid driving or operating machinery if dizzy or drowsy. Seek medical advice for unusual muscle movements, severe abdominal pain, vomiting blood or black stools. Do not use for prolonged periods unless medically advised.
