Rabonet L Cap (Rabeprazole 20mg + Levosulpride 75mg SR)

Composition (per capsule/tablet):

Rabeprazole 20 mg – Proton pump inhibitor that reduces gastric acid secretion.
Levosulpiride 75 mg (Sustained Release) – Prokinetic and antipsychotic agent (benzamide derivative) that enhances gastric motility and reduces reflux-related symptoms.

Description:

Rabonet L is a combination therapy used for:
GERD with dyspepsia
Acid reflux with nausea, bloating, regurgitation
Functional dyspepsia
Gastritis associated with delayed gastric emptying
Acid-related disorders not controlled by PPI alone

Rabeprazole suppresses acid secretion, while Levosulpiride SR improves gastric motility and reduces visceral hypersensitivity.

Precautions:

Avoid in patients with epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, or history of seizures.
Use cautiously in renal or hepatic impairment.
May cause drowsiness—avoid driving or operating machinery.
Long-term use may cause prolactin elevation (galactorrhea, breast tenderness).
Avoid in pregnancy and breastfeeding unless prescribed.
Swallow the SR capsule whole, do not crush or chew.

Adverse Effects:

Drowsiness or dizziness
Headache
Gastric discomfort or diarrhea
Increased prolactin → breast tenderness, menstrual irregularities
Restlessness or tremors (rare)
Allergic reactions (rare)
